The Town of Teulon is a vibrant community and is known as the 'Gateway to the Interlake'. Built upon strong agricultural roots and strong community involvement, the town features many services to make life a little easier. Leisure and recreational activities are of abundance in Teulon for any age! As of 2008 the town housed 1,124 residents, and has been growing ever since. Teulon feels like a mini city, and is under 1 hour away from Winnipeg. There is something for everyone out here, and most notably the Annual Demolition Derby and Truck & Tractor Pull sees hundreds of people from rural communities all over the Province. Another claim to fame for the town is the 2009 movie "The Haunting of Connecticut". Teulon was selected for several filming locations.
